I sit staring at the blank page
knowing that my hearts just not into writing,
for there are to many thoughts
and to many struggles that I am fighting.

I try to make the words flow
but they will not come eloquently,
there is just to much loneliness here
when together we can not be.

Nothing heard but the ticking of the clock
no words come to dance upon the stage,
only sounds from echoes of my memories
as I sit here staring~ at the blank page.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Listening to every heart

I hear some soft clicking
some soft taps come a'ticking
some heart's desire on this page
some deep desire to seek a sage

I hear...

you...

Gentle Spirit,
I understand this and hear what you are saying even without the words.  I wish you well.

The words always eventually come, and they did here very well.  Nicely done.

Yet even the expression
of reaching for though
seeming foible proffers
words to meet the day

Nicely done.

the words shall come to you
when the battle is through
flowing from your pen
like you can't remember when

they will grant release
then will follow release
from the burden you bear
washing away your cares

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

Thank you all so very much for your kind and caring responses. Usually my feelings turn into poetry, but at the moment they just won't seem to come.  You will never know how much I appreciate all of you and the thoughts you send.  Hugs.
