I shall bow my head in wonder at the
foolishness of illogical thoughts
from others, For a moment the light
shone brightly then as the sun set
over the valleys that carve sway in
my mind my persona took a trip to
the dark side.

This plunge pool of dismay astounds me
I think therefore I am, so I am told by
the boffins. You thought for me, so
does this make me thoughtless?
I wonder some more in silky silence.

Many paths weave their ways in front of me
trails of yellow brick roads to nowhere
becon and call me to tread the cobbles of
destiny, we before, we tomorrow escape not
the lure of fortunes won and lost.

I ponder time, as time is all I have
time to reflect, from time to time, time to
count the seconds vanishing endlessly into
the past, I mearly expire in the eyes of
goverment.

Indeed time is all we have. You capture and portray much of the codswallop (your country's colloquial, not mine, laughing) society seeks to mold us with and into.
