I could be completely wrong
For I've been wrong before
Like when I jumped to the conclusion
That you were walking out my door

And the time that I believed
You were having an affair
For when I rang your office
You were never there

I could be completely wrong
It's possible I know
I could believe you care for me
Although you never show

And what about the nighttime
Could it ever be the same?
When embraced by passion
You called someone else's name

I could be completely wrong
That you like me anyway
With all your indiscretions
Why do you choose to stay?

I sit here in the darkness
A jealous seething heart
I wait for you, to return
And your tales to start

I plot my plan of vengeance
Where blood flows free and strong
I think that I could walk away
But I could be completely wrong.

If one is to be wrong.... it is best to be wrong about giving love a chance..rather than not..

enjoyed the poem

This kind of self doubt follows so closely an intense knowledge of self...sometimes it is hard to tell the difference.  Appreciated much!

only the heart knows for sure my friend. . .

there's a lot of self-doubt and questioning here, I know that you'll find the answers that you seek. . . just keep writing it out and searching for it. . .

Thanks folks, let me firstly say this is completely fictional. It is part of a Trilogy I wrote when I asked the question "What if?"
thanks again, I  hope to back amongst friends soon. For good this time.
