Lost In Silence

Dearest,

Time hast removed me from thy thoughts.
Distance hast displaced thy touch.
Silence hast become the greatest enemy of two.
The Moon's fullness shadowed mine heart
last eve, laying me to rest with worry.
Slowly awakening, it's view still hanging over me,
a warning, blending yesterday's night
into my morning's day and still,
no vision of thee. Only memories
to fill my thoughts with warmth;
softened kisses from lips of thine,
caressed wordings, that use to quilt my nights,
whispers in the darkness that lightly brushed over my lids
easing me into dreams, a world of sensuality.
Truth could never define my love of thee,
heart can never be replaced, as I lay
bound in the goodness
of a time, now lost in silence.

Forever a part of me,
Lady Ollyne

To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit"...Shakespeare

It's so very lonely there lost in silence....but I'm glad you let this all out and it turned into a very emotionally driven poetic work and worth the read!

LadyOllyne~
These are always so lovely.
If I were to rummage an old trunk, I would not be surprised to find these beautiful letters, ribboned and waiting to be read.

Thank you so much for sharing.
