Where were you on May 6,
At 7:25?
Did your heart skip a beat?
Was there a stirring sensation?
Did something new come alive?

What were you doing on May 6,
As the sun began to set?
Were you alone, contemplative
Or laughing with a friend
Any clue of a heartbeat you had never met?

How were you feeling on May 6,
Another spring day gone by?
Insignificant, Just another 24 hours
Or did you somehow sense the hugeness
Of a faraway  newborn's cry?

Did you sense life on May 6,
As the tears turned to joy?
Slowly being birthed, a gift from God,
Transforming an accident: a mistake
Into your precious baby boy.

Amazing how someone who did not exist in our world can change it forever.  No one does that as much as a child!
