my eyes greet another night,
in longing of visions earthbound -
yet overtly unearthly.

wondering if the heart might yet,
escape night's torment in regret's embrace.

solace of unsung lullabyes.

you tell a tale well..this was succinctly written, a skill which i greatly admire from any poet...
