Cry Of My Heart

The pain of alone
shivered slowly
from the remembrance of my heart
oozing
like cancerous sores,
mama's healing embrace depart
howl of bond no more
from unseen betrayal bestowed

if I must crawl away from you
I'd do so...
yes, I love you this much...

recognition of hurt...anulled
medusa of fate's stare
blind-folds my will
'morrows promises dulled
weakens the roar of my cries behind your ignore
a stone-bitter pill
swallowing sorrow of intense,
awakening to
the shrill of silence
hope interlaces not
as toes unfold
from the haven of bedsheets -
my linen crutch,
tears defy sun's rays
the ground is much colder
dead upon touch
this path of astray
heart weeps in shadowed grey

Oh Melissa, how this one oozes with hurt. Such sadness in these lines. You have been severly wronged my friend, I hope she sees the error of her ways and makes it right. life it way to short for scenes such as this one.
