My poetry cannot soothe my soul
It rends my world like a wrecking ball
It brings me forth to the cusp of greatness
And shouts the words “Can this be really all?”

Maybe it’s a safe place that I can be
To bleed my heart less discreet
I want my name to go unheard
Then might my work not walk the street

Poetry is the fallacy of my existence
The foremost factor of my phantom pain
If I could live my life less secure
I’d feel that I was not so very plain

I am alone in my ignorance
My arrogance thus seeps away
And I write books of sustaining poetry
Till my shining knight comes one day

This is just in my recent experience
My namesake burns out all the faulted time
And of course this is just my point of view
Hypocritically noted with spot on end-rhyme

interesting read. Maybe you are just"keeping it real" or something like that. But I have never found your writing to be in need.
