Whispers
Floating on air
Across the sands of time
Take me back to your memory
Once more

~*~

I know
They come from you
I can hear your heart beat
Keeping perfectly in rhythm
With mine

~*~

Daring
The remembrance
To dance into my heart
Stirring me, invoking my love
again

~*~

I ache
With the knowledge
That we will never be
Nothing more than a memory
In time

~*~

Its one of those days in here today ...
I cant seem to read with out either crying ..
or seeing my self in poetic mirrors.
and you already know I love these ...
and feel every verse.
I been reading all your cinquains ...youre nailing them..poetically and emotionally.
hugs Sea-gator

oh you speak to me in riddles
and you speak to me in rhymes
my body aches to breathe your breath
your words keep me alive

Oh...to ache is to be human. To make yourself happy, now that is truly a blessing. That's what its all about, finding out what gives us pleasure and going for it. Looks like you are the cinquain queen SEA.

Bittersweet and beautiful,  I relate to your words very much so, in my life, for the past 3 years now, I have held on to his memory, lost in ache.  "What can never be" or "what might have been" are perhaps the worst words in the english language!   This touched me~

Take care,
Melissa~

How did I almost miss this?

You keep outdoing yourself.  You are growing more with every line you pen.  I'd try verse to convey my thoughts, but right now any verse I might offer would be sorry indeed in light of your accomplishment.
