The Grasp Of My Hand.

I cannot let go your hand
Until I know that your pain has ceased
Even when I do, I shall release the hold
With such care ready to grasp again
Bringing you within the comfort of my warmth
I may never know if your tears are no more
For in my grasp, holding your hand
All I care for is that you are not alone

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

The one thing I have always felt I knew someone was there was the holding of a hand...thank you for a beautiful poem this evening.
