in a whilring dervish
a habitual echo of hypnotism

"we resemble ourselves
to lose our identity"

spinning rhythmic step
uprooted deserted gulfs

"keen on the will
detected by authority"

these foreigners crowding
along the rifts of Mediterrania

homegrown in the empire of tradition
these are blue-eyed blond-haired
copper-stained skins

dancing without the music
clashed in humility

homeogenic kin
losing their identity

"I realize it was
because of my ignorance"**

a subtle notion
brimming the tune of abandonment

the whirling dervish
continues

east meets east
Tatars in step

This piece brings to mind a frenzied sort of sifting of emotion, an evolving look into the mirror of one.
