Wrought Quintessence
By: Noah Eaton
5/13/01

Once upon a time in heaven’s palace
I was born in God’s enchanted workshop
Carved from wood and painted in His hands
Breathing light upon me, turning me into a real boy, to live on Earth

Growing through a somber boyhood, never satisfied
Bleeding and crying and screaming, day after day
Tight-lipped and tongue-tied, hurt by abuse, hanging by torpor
Ending at the ride into adulthood, now healed and edified

Understanding leads to desire, for what I really want
A special love of my life who endlessly swims I my dreams
Then I saw God’s face in the sky, and he told me,

“The girl of your dreams that you greatly desire
Will become yours forever, to love eternally
Just keep true to yourself, do what you know is right
Love yourself and life, and you will find yourself when you least expect it with her!”

For days I did what he told me, sharing my love and His to others
Helping all the people I can out, making them feel more hopeful
Healing wounds with a tourniquet of faith
Dreaming endlessly this day could be tomorrow, to hold my dream lover

Years passed by, still believing in myself but feeling so empty
Wanting ever so much to have someone to share my life with
Believing that dreams can come true, treasuring them dear
Still feeling troubled, sad to see I remain lonely

One summer day near sunset, I walked along a quiet beachside
Smelling the salty sea water, seeing lights shine from the clouds down upon the bay
When all a sudden I look down on the sand to see a wooden doll of a girl
Looking just like the girl in my dreams, starting to cry feeling the emptiness sting me

I burst into tears of sadness, holding the doll against my chest
Knowing it’s been years, and I still don’t have her
Teardrops fall upon my chest and the doll, the doll’s eyes shimmer when I don’t notice
Glistening like stars, as the skies light up with northern lights flooding with white doves

I continue to cry as light winds of cotton candy wind brush against me, eyes closed in hurt
Bright light exploding silently around me, from the heart of God and the heart of the doll
The next second I hear a sweet moan, and I slowly open my eyes, wiping my tears
Happily amazed to see I’m holding the girl of my dreams, my life’s heaven

I smile noticing I don’t have the doll anymore, it turned into a real girl
We smile together looking into each other’s eyes, and she whispers in my ears words of love
Reverberating between hearts as I declare my love for her, and she happily giggles and wraps her arms around my neck
Smiling as happy as can be, sighing and moaning like a million angels

Looking up to the atmosphere curiously, I smile suddenly to see God smiling down upon both of us
And then He tells me,

“You have given me great joy, you have lightened my heart
For the greatest love I could dream for, I grant you your dreams in return
May the girl of your dreams forever give you true happiness
And bless your life forever, as you will bless hers!”

I look deep into her eyes again, and we cry together in euphoria, holding each other
All a sudden, we embrace each other lips, kissing as she holds me behind my neck, locking her lips with mine
I fall to the sand with her, as fireworks of heaven explode in the sky against the passionate fire red and orange sunset skies
Melting under her breath, moaning in delight, we say to each other “I love you!”, as we roll across the soft sands

As the skies turn midnight blue, I pick her up, holding her in my arms and she holds on to me
Looking into each others eyes, smiling endlessly
Living fairy tales as true lovers, as I carry her, kissing as we walk off into our dreams together
Holding the love of my life in my arms, to live happily after after…

WOW,  WOW and WOW again!  What a dream come true. You waited a long time and now your time has come.  Thanks for taking us on this trip.  If we wait long enough and keep the same dream, will we have a chance for our dream to come true?  I will believe!!!  ME
