Forgive me for stumbling
over the roadblocks
in your heart...
shadows drenched
in noir worked their
trickery- decieved me
into believing you cared
I linger,
winded from the fall
dazed from the truth
& still hopelessly lost
perhaps one day,
I'll find my way home...

Tier,
I'm glad that you finished the poem with a hopeful stance... you will surely find your way, everybody does, just keep looking and searching...

regards,
Sudhir

I linger,
winded from the fall
dazed from the truth

Each word of this is perfect...impressive!

Very well written, tugs at the heart strings, yet leaves a sense of hope.  It was a pleasure to read.

Ouch........love can be painful, can't it, my friend?  I applaud.  I've so enjoyed reading you lately.

We've all floated/ drowned on the waves of love, Kel, no real secret there! It's just that heartache is what I write best... *smiles*

I've been trying very hard to read deeply into various lines of poetry to pick "one" that stands out alone...

this whole darn thing won't let me do that!  You have a unique style....so all I can say is, IWIHWT.....
