standing on a shadow's lace

No Mistake

flow through your day
have no bumps to ride
you shall be liquid
in movement you glide
let your sorrows
be in past
I pray for you
they melt fast
purposed words
that you say
will again come soon
there they’ll stay
in a shadow
by your side
gives back the peace
you provide
soothing music
that you make
your notes ring true
it’s no mistake

yes, Helen, the day - we should glide through it, we are women, we are in control     (I hope)

I read this right before leaving for work...proceeded to flow through the evening.  Some poems, poets just have a calming effect on me.
