Seduction?

You are more delicious
with each yielding layer;
there is much I must learn,
please, teach me
how to taste you,
to savor these moments
of discovery,
this deepening sweetness
in the unveiling
of all that you are,
a complicated mix -
yin, now yang;
with a hint of intoxication
you lull me into a dream,
yet use your power
to pound within my veins.
It took so long to reach this point,
but you are worth the effort,
Tiramsu.

I absoultely love it.  Do we not all have yin and yang? LP

Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.

I once took a course in Chinese history from a professor who was a Communist. He made no mention of Tiramsu.  Do they have that "over there"? If not, should someone spread the word?  On the other hand....     Bob

Thanks, Kathleen! Had fun with this one.

Marge - hey, thank you! This poem actually came out of trying to find a relatively easy recipe for my best friend's birthday - and there are a lot of recipes out there, most of them pretty complicated. Yours was perfecto!

Thank you, Latin Passion!

Bob, Tiramisu is actually an Italian dessert, not sure how it got its name!
Thank you!
