In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2001-05-01 11:35 PM

Sometimes my mind races
to voice the
feelings kept within

My words cannot express
the thoughts that
flood me with energy

Each time I reach
to pull you near

To memorize your
face and just
for a moment

Not hear you but,
feel instead

A heart in trust ed
to you, is
complete

Night time
remembers

One more
day is finished

One
more chance
to tell you

and poetry allows us to release those feelings, to give them voice..
and your poetic voice speaks volumes to me...
but always in a gentle whisper.
love the fragility of this feather-light write.

I miss you so much I cant stand it
Seems like my heart is breaking in two
My head says no, but my soul demands it
Everything I do reminds me of you
