Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-04-08 07:32 PM

Quiet Time

it’s that gray

above that blue

above that
gold

there,
in the
western sky,

just above that pinkish
tinge fading

quietly bidding me,
whispering,

beseeching me
to tell you

it’s that time
to
put away the rhyme

and lay your head
on this pillow

to put your heart
in my hands

it’s quiet time,

my sweet,

good night

Karilea~
So softly painted.
Shhhh ! Night !
Jeezzz .. how realistic is this ?
I even found myself typing quietly so as not to disturb you.

Kari - this is lovely! I really like the flow...and the short lines...it works wonderfully...

yes as usual I have a suggestion - what do you think about trying it without the punctuation?

Kari dear heart, enchanting as always, you have written this with such skill and style. YOU knew I'd love this one, all yours go into my library, some have a special place though and this is destined for the library of my heart.
