My husband loves to post here
All his poetic art
Lately he's become a rear
For which I played no part

He can't bump up his work
For which he is so proud
He's acting like a jerk
And hiding behind a shroud

When I have time to read his latest
And I think I'll boost it high
He's already said he's the greatest
Using my name to post reply

What's it like being me?
To think what I do when I read?
To the punch he beat me
Wayoutwalt, you little weed

just so everyone will know, Walt's not in trouble at home. just busted

So busted!   This absolutely cracked me up!  I haven't read 'WOW' very often...I will have to start reading more, for both of your sakes.   By the way, I loved your poem!!

I shouldn't deign to respond but when you cannot get your wife to read your poetry it is frustrating. I have told you a poem I get your response and I type it in but ok never again. I am glad this is all just in fun.

In my own defense, when a man spends all his time writing poetry and leaves no time for domestic things (kids, dishes, etc.) the woman has no time to read a poem (or write one) because she is picking up his slack. (flinching) love you , Walt

Ya know, it's tough enough figuring out who's who in a place like this without you two playing hide-and-seek.  Now cut that out!

Thank you for your humorous responses. Walt didn't think it was as funny as I did. But he's been begging me for a long time to post another poem on her, so. . . .I did! I enjoy reading everyone's work (when I can).
