Life isn't easy, or so they say
But still you keep on striving
Day after day
Many hurdles you've faced
So many hills did you climb
But who was there for you
When the sun didn't shine?

As a growing young lad
With your dad by your side
Such great mates you were
But so tragically he died
Your soul it was crushed
Your heart was now lost
If only you could have him back
At any cost
But it wasn't to be
Your life went ahead
As you wondered where the next road lead?

You worked so hard
To make ends meet
Long days and nights
Never much off your feet
But who was there
To look after you?

So selfless you were
As you tirelessly helped your "friends"
Nothing was too difficult
Your time, it had no end
But they weren't there for you
When the chips were down
They left you on your own
With no helping hands around

As you strived to keep her happy
You just couldn't do enough
She was never going to be happy
She didn't know the meaning of love

Love isn't money
Love isn't "things"
It starts from deep down inside
Straight from the heart it sings

But such joy would come to you
Something good would come your way
When two very special cherubs were born
How their love just made your day

Now the fork in the road
Is right in front of you
Which road should you take?
What on earth should you do?
Take the one that feels right
The one that is new
And you'll never look back
As you admire the view

Thoes who don't see you
As you really are
So genuine and caring
A bright and shining star
They're just not worth the trouble
Not even worth the pain
I see it as their loss
And ultimately, your gain

SueTang~
This is a lovely pick-me-up for all of us.
