In my dreams I escape
To a world that I love
Where nothing can harm me
From below or above

I may be basking in the moonlight
Or drowning in the sea
Where nothing but love is there
And it's surrounding me
Eternal am I, like a flame - so alive
With nothing but love do I need to survive

The doves fly to me
And they rest in my hands
With an aura around me
As I lie on the sand

The angels, they come
So sweet and so dear
They playfuly watch me
And I have nothing to fear

Thay take me on a journey
To another world I see
Where I am free to be myself
Where I'm at peace with me

My eyelids begin to open
Mr. Sandman has long gone home
Please take me back to that lovely place
To the place that I long to roam

The sun streams through my window
So lovely, warm and bright
And how I'll long to go back to my dreams
With the coming of the night

Sue, you have the most wonderful dreams. I have to agree, I would rather stay in the dreams, than wake up. Very nice piece.

Thank you Sandra for your kind words.  I love nothing more than to escape into my dreams and my fantasy world......it gives me great peace and I'm glad you feel the same.
Take care....Sue
