Melancholy Mists

silver veil of mist
tiptoes over azure waves
melancholy night

fog horn’s mournful cry
silver mists on restless sea
searching for the shore

pale morning mist
reaching for the blue above
blankets sleeping earth

Aloha with warmest regards, Koko

Mysteria: You are too funny my friend! heheh It did take me some work. i am not real swift at it. It looks simple enuff, but this is not that easy. I am pleased with the artful results to add a color to the poems.
Of course i care most about the haiku itself as it stands.(big grins)I am pleased at having conquered a hard HTML lesson without classes.(pssst I used The HTML for Idiots book and still had a hard time...ROTFL!

Koko,

I've never read any of your poetry before, but after reading this lovely work, will certainly be looking for more.

beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!

of course, I have a thing for lighthouses and misty waters and skies

your poem is beautiful, too

I'm going to send this address to my daughter so she can peek in, too.
