~Serenade Affair~

You courted me in song tonight,
With caring eyes, of heart in flight.
Voiced in softness, mine to hear,
Your words, their presence, very near.

I pillowed them in cradle song,
Tucked them into night's belong.
A serenade affair of heart,
As twilight sinks, it's glow to part.

Advanced to me, a tenor sweet,
Pleasing mind into retreat.
Dreamswirls led me gently through
A wave of moonlit night, deep blue.

Stringed, fine-tuned, the noted rise
Inside my heart, with caring eyes,
Your words, seek presence, in shadow's stare
This night, a ~serenade affair~.

~Wynter  * thanks

"The worst prison would be a closed heart".
...Pope John Paul II

well I don't usually do this but it sure makes me wonder what is wrong with this poem....guess it has to wait for that certain Bill to  respond...and here I thought it rather one of my nicer poems, uplifting...etc...I am not bumping...I am  taking away my "nothing" because I am not going to be a "nothing" ever again.

Thank you Kathleen...sometimes  a "nothing" does make you wonder...I went through and responded to others this evening, those not so well known and also those maybe a bit harder to understand...there is always something I can find in a poets heart to respond to. Thank you once again for being "you".

Wynter - my name happens to be Bill. I would like to know if you wrote this poem for me? If not, it would be so nice to have you, or someone, write just one little poem for me. Yes, it would. This writing of yours is so senuous, telling, soft, and it must have been a treet for someone to sing to you. Especially the title, "Caring Eyes".

Wynter - H'mmmmmmm, I like the offer. Why not? I know how to sing a little. Are you in a situation or are you free, for a little music in your ear?

wynter - well, I usually don't do this, but I'm sending you my private unlisted phone number, and reverse the charges if you would. Please call, we really need to talk. Still love that poem.

Is it hot here or is it just me Lovely poem, for a certain Bill!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.
