Tilling Earth and Soul

As I till the earth in a bit of anger
Knowing my season will be hard
I can’t help but think of my unrested soul
Turning the earth before me and life as well
Time to stop and think to ones self
Where are you going in your plot of life?
Could there be a changing taking place
Or shall this moment in restless awe keep you grounded
“Oh” the feelings coming from sweated brow
Just weeds lay before me in twisted masses
I tried hard to
Buried all unwanted residue is my desires
Yet enough remnants linger
Thus paving way for the over throw of weeds in my mind
Shall I have to remove all unwanted soil?
That would leave a large whole in my heart!
I could mask it with manure as before
Giving subtle stench rewarding turn
Anger rides the tiller into soil dry
Making healing efforts costly
My knees now holding weight of life
On lowest level my soul churns up all degrading vile
Keeping me in unfruitful territory
Kissing sweet earth my pray pleads outwardly
Asking turns to threshing and tears to running waters
I say keep digging for some how
The earth shall produce beauty once more
It’s just a matter of removing the weeds
Chuckling to ones self “but weeds”
Are hardy and thrive were one does not desire them
And a fight they shall put up
This day is long most are!
My graveled soil it has to be
And the clay clogs my veins with heavy residue
Strength is something of the past
Hard to mustard up or am I giving up!
The soil is now drenched with salty tears
Nothing shall grow in this spot this year
Maybe it’s time to put away the till and my heart
And give rest to the understanding of why
Tomorrow promises a fresh new start
Maybe I shall seek finer soil then
Today is clouded shrouded in uneventful answers
My determination to plant a beautiful garden
Is powerful hopefully stronger than my weakened soul
It’s a matter of finding the right ingredients
And mixing in a little tender care
Or at least the world says it is?
My understanding are just that “mine”
I guess I will part this plot of land
But it was watered with heavy heart
That has to be worth something?
To someone for it was a part of me

Hi
Maureen, Irish Rose, Marge

Besides the fact that my muse took a trip some were and can't be found I am having one HELL of a year so far and I really was working in the garden but upset at life finding the tilling became a rather large hole in the ground and crying became ruler for a while, if the first half of this year is the bad part then the next half is going to be awesome cause what could go wrong has and making it through is KILLING ME! Thank you all for your kind replys this was my thoughts pouring out on to page and probably was not suitable to be posted,

Love, Cerenity

this was absolutely suitable to be posted Cerenity. . .

I love what you've done with this. . . if only we could till our hearts like we till the soil. . .
