Life Still Captivating Some How

The day is yet young
How far I have come
No matter what lay ahead
I shall steady my tread

From minuteness to now
Life still captivating
Some how
It’s just a matter of perception
Desire of
Soul-searching perfection

For what keeps one grounded
Has little merit
Or founded
For all we are comes
From within

It does not matter
Through thick or thin
Our dreams we make and
Some come true
But how we get there
We have no clue!

Till we put our heart
Soul and mind
To the task at hand
Even if hard the grind

If for a moment in time
True happiness we find
Then all that became labor
Will be heart desired Neighbor

For in remembrance of heart
We shall walk the line
Teeter or totter we do not part
For upon meditation
We were blessed with
Contentment and our salvation
