I just could not squeeze inspiration
from this world in which I exist...
so, I walked to the edge of my knowledge
and entered the land behind your eyes...

much to my surprise, I found rivers,
whispering my name in currents of adoration...
everywhere I turned, I came across endless meadows,
singing of your love for the soul within me...

as I walked past the defending mountains,
bottomless valleys of captivation came into view...
timeless winds of devotion passed softly by,
leaving the sweet scent of our kisses in its path...

while witnessing the setting of the sun,
I took in and memorized each striking color...
walking back to the edge of my knowledge,
I realized the inspiration to make my home behind your eyes.

-kh 04/10/01

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk into the room...

Very nice, extremely nice.  Though I can't help but wonder what kind of world you live in that provides no inspiration.  This is truly sad.  I'm so happy you found a way, a place from where you may be inspired.

This one takes my breath away, sp.  Your imagery is superb.
