Crystalline Rainbows

the day is right,
oh,
so right
for I have
passed beyond
the night,
where dreams
led me to
doorways
blind,
and when I opened
I found in
time

crystalline rainbows
in my mind

to reach and
touch in
dreamscape
air,
there is no
feel, they’re
just hanging
there,
bright and
brilliant
beyond compare

crystalline rainbows
in the air

but in this day,
in warm and
sun,
I can relive
the dream
that’s done,
and with a
hose and
water, combine

crystalline rainbows
from dream so fine

can’t be done
in morning’s sun,
and not even
best at noon,
but late in day
when the sun
sends its rays
on a certain
bent,
now soon!

I shall stand,
green hose
in hand
my thumb
over nozzle
just so,
and spray in
the air
water’s beads
in
such great flair
that crystalline
rainbows
will show

to the neighbors
I’m watering
my lawn,
or spraying
the birds
on wing,
little do they
know,
just so
that I am
soft, hearing

crystalline rainbows
sing

I got my watergun...can I play?  Oh this was simply precious, and do I ever remember the water fights we had as kids.

Karilea--it is so cold and rainy here...no sun to make rainbows with...not yet anyway...I sure played with you in my mind though, my friend....and you got drenched.    Thanks for inviting me into your imagination.

Rainbow is my favorite color and you made it shine brite! I loved the imagery and the format that made me wait for the next word.
