Iron Doors Rose Thorned Copyright 2001 Written by James Edward Shields Moon choking out The light of the sun Sucking your lifeforce I warned you... My darkness Swallowing your light Killing you slow I never meant it Hurt you too much I never knew But I warned you The Dark inside... Pain never physical Barbs of my heart Cut you black I had to let you go Moth to a flame You were addicted Fell too deep in love And you’re hurt... Thank you for your responses on a side note: "But you black" was suppose to be "Cut you black" It was a typo I missed when I typed it up orignally. |
