Always have my mouth and my anger
Cooled the bully's fist
Never was I hurt, always I escaped
Naught has ever gone amiss

Yet I have become a fool
I smile into the teeth of a knife
I sit passively, my arms at my side
Foolishly risking a chance with life

I was not saved by my anger today
But it had no consequence in reality
However it is now I begin to understand
The dangers of the past's severity
