I dreamt of you once
In that year I did nothing.
Standing--a silhouette--
With your hair--longer
Than I remember.
And your trembling fingers
Causing little earthquakes
When they hit those keys.
What did you mean?
"Under the pink".. skies?
Oceans? tears?
Fears
And emotions dance
Since you no longer are,
Unlike me,
Silent all these years.

Moshpit - I LOVE THIS POEM.

I really do...

'And your trembling fingers
Causing little earthquakes
When they hit those keys.
What did you mean?'

Fantastic imagery here...well done!

Since you no longer are,
                   Unlike me,

Isn't she amazing? Wondering if your silence was the sort spoken of in Silent All These Years... if so, THANK GOD you are out of that situation, and the second, individual brutality of a smothered identity.

Moshpit,
it just goes to show you "silence is not always golden".  I enjoyed this poem despite the sadness threaded through it.
