The love
and affection;
unfound.

The pain
and the strife
abound.

The fear
and the worry;
unending.

The smiles
and the laughter:
pretending.

Shady,
this is so great, the way you encapsulated such wisdom in so few words.

This is a beautiful poem and I like the way that you can depict particular meanings from the poem, some lines have great significance and you have got lots of them in this poem

Truly appreciative

Nice work here. I suppose we all have to pretend from time to time, right?

Sweetness!!!  I loved the simplicity of this poem.  I think you may have helped me kill some of my writers block.  The poem was brillant.

Let it be your friend
It will help you carry on
In the end
There's a peace inside us all
