She was tossed overboard
Into the sea
Falling deeper and deeper
Into the ocean of her emotions

In her dilemma
She gasped for air
Looking for the sunlight
From the ocean's floor
The sun's rays
Seemed eons away
Instinctively
She gravitated toward them
Developed gills
Lived on the scarce oxygen
That was available
In such deep cold waters

At times she grew weary
Of her underwater existence
And her screams could be heard
By those who traveled above

"Help I am drowning!"
"Please rescue me!"

Yes I see that you are
Came an answer
Swim towards the light

"Throw me a line!"
"Pull me into your boat!"

Reach for it
It's already there beside you

"I can't see it"
"The darkness blinds me"
Swim towards the light

Someone has left the safety
Of their boat
To save you
When you feel his presence
Trust him
Take his hand
He will guide you
Let him lead the way

I really liked this one.
Reminded me of an old Cure song, The drowning man.
Liked the dialogue inbetween.

In this I see the message of hope, and I trust she did see the hand of love offered to her, and took it...
Beauty in the darkness.. thanks hon
