Congested sidewalks, busy streets, dark alleys
all factors of life, our so called existence
she sits and watches travelers go by
she holds a cup of mediocrity
bundled from the cold she waits for salvation
self induced heartache derived from self centered pride
hobby has become habit, chaining her to this life
she is a victim of consequence, bearing the mark
she is aware of its potency but cannot escape
the claws are deep with a fatal grip
they possess her exposing her regrets in color
so she sits and watches travelers go by
praying to a God of destruction that this breath
will not be her last
people pass by ignorant to the warfare occurring
inside her soul
and congested sidewalks and busy streets are just as
crowded
while the dark allies hide away those we refuse to
accept

Intersting but very good. There seems to be another story here, something that words cannot describe.
