Could you forgive me if I decided to die today?
If I were to slip away, and go through life a different way.
Please tell me death isn't the only way out, because I don't want to die.
But then tell me, why does my heart cry?
There are happy faces all around me, and I don't know why.
What makes their life smile, and mine cry?
I don't understand why this happened to me.
One day my smile just dropped. I was not seen.

Could you forgive me if I decided to break away today?
Just space out, and make it look like I'm okay.
Would you be able to deal with the fact that I'm gone?
Even if it's temporary, not long?
Some days it's like a battle that can't be won.
Others it's like hell waiting for it to come.
Go away with him as if there's no tomorrow.
He can't carry me. I'm too heavy, cause my heart is full of sorrow.
What are you supposed to do when you want to cry all damn day and
Push every damn thing out of your way?

After I'm gone I can still see the stars, but they're unhappy like me.
I can still feel the wind blow - happily - it can't be.
I guess I'm just stuck with this frown,
Cause my whole world has turned upside down.
Life just isn't fair this way - so -
Would you forgive me if I decided to die today?
