there is an enclosure
where i should feel safe
where i should feel loved
where i should be wanted
needed
no
not in THIS enclosure
no
here i feel pain
anger rage
confusion humiliation
where i see tears
crimson fists, half moons from nails
memories
where i hear cynical words
criticism
where i am condemned
to my peaceful sanctuary
alone to deal with my
emotions -- alone, all alone
my room -- my own asylum
where i go beserk
against myself
i have nowhere to go to calm down
nobody to turn to
my once happy face -- turns dark
my once bouyant self -- clouds over
i let the sun go down
on this boiling rage
on this red-hot agony
anger
my thoughts
now sadistic
this enclosure...
my home
my heart
my self
