ARMAGEDDON

How long I'll be able to suppress my rage...
How long I'll be able to suppress my rage...
How long I'll be able to suppress my rage...
I'M LOCKED IN THIS WORLD LIKE BEAST IN A CAGE!!!

I never thought it would be so hard
To summon the forces that will destroy God
I really should stop and think about this
Am I ready to open the door to abyss

I'm thinking while looking at the world from above...
I'm thinking while looking at the world from above...
I'm thinking while looking at the world from above...
IF ONLY GOD HADN'T REFUSED MY LOVE!!!

Those who survive will replace God
The others will fall and bathe in mud
The ticket to come is your personality
Welcome to my brand new reality

Sacrifice your individuality...
Sacrifice your individuality...
Sacrifice your individuality...
JOIN ME IN MY QUEST FOR INSANITY!!!

I will draw my strength from my despair
I'm driving to hell and soon I'll be there
I will bring the worse things you'll ever see
God really shouldn't have mess with me

Nothing will stop you if you surrender your will...
Nothing will stop you if you surrender your will...
Nothing will stop you if you surrender your will...
NOTHING WILL STOP YOU IF YOU HAVE COURAGE TO KILL!!!

The monster with million heads has awaken
Gates of hell are open and the sky has been taken
World wrapped in a barbed wire
It's the result of my desire

usually I don't like too many lines get repeated...but yours create a striking image in my mind!

personally i think that this would make a better metal song than a poem but i do see the point of the repetition. i see it as a kind if building of tention which would exist between sides of a war.

Wow, this is very powerful and serious, dearest freind, I agree this would make a great heavy rock song, it would work well with a Rage Against The Machine-esque sound! (big hugggssssss) Very striking, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Thanks for the replies . Well, actually I wrote it as a heavy metal song lyrics. Even more, I wrote it having a Rage Against The Machine's song Killing In The Name in mind.

Is it OK to post (dark) song lyrics here?

Ah, heavy metal you say, well I am open to the change of times, and enjoyed the read.

Thanks for all replies .

SilentFreija: your post is the most positive comment on my lyrics so far. Now I feel that writing that wasn't a complete waste of my time.

I met an Armageddon man walking down an
Armageddon street.  Somehow with his eyes
he told me words he could not speak.

I met a walkie-talkie boy and a walkie
talkie girl who were sentenced to live
in a walkie-talkie world.

I to hope the world is ready because God
knows I am.
