Limbo

One day
I shall stand
Upon the shores
Of a far lesser place
Than Heaven;
I shall not care.
I will stand
With folded hands
And calmly watch
That narrow space
That separates
Our sins,
And see
Across those turbulent waters,
Your useless struggle
To disperse
The stygian tide.

You really have a certain poetic stamp you know Rex.

To claim a style of one's own isn't always an easy thing...I think you have succeeded.

Enjoyed the read as per usual

Another powerful piece, Rex. Bold and thought provoking. Smooth and classically penned.

I've only read two or three of your works but they have been excellent, this one is no exception.
