Pending my wants, I control my desire,
But the spook from the devil causes a burst of fire,
My wants are surfacing like a hero admire,
Knowing that he has found the right buyer,
Filling my wants signals my hire,
How did I ever become such a great liar?

interesting write, I wasn't prepared for that final line. that's great! I wonder too, about how much people step back and look at themselves and ask that question. Enjoyed the read.

I'm not sure what to say to this, except that it strikes a familiar chord. I was never a great liar, just so so. Good work.

Gee ... i'm a terrible liar myself ... You ought to give me some pointers soon ...
Hahaha ... kidding.
Interesting work though.
