Love opens your heart
and then tears it apart
Love is pain...

You think love you've found
but it soon let's you down
Love is pain...

When those words cut right through
there's no rescue for you
Love is pain...

When you've given your all
first you fly, then you fall
Love is pain...

In your heart, then your mind
it leaves reason behind
Love is pain...

When you just want to share
but the one doesn't care
Love is pain...

When you're left there alone
it's no longer your home
Love is pain...

All the tears somehow dry
leave you asking just why
Love is pain...

At the end of the day
when the light goes away
all alone in the dark
Love is pain...

love is pain,
but we keep trying anyhow, unless we get numb,
i think ill take the pain, still, at this point,
i hear your words, sister, loud and clear.
as ive walked your walk, too

Can relate to this - well said.

I'm a reader - not a writer.

Love yourself, and no one can let you down... for you expect no happiness from anyone but you.

And even so, loving yourself and then loving others... you can still get hurt.  We are still human.

I do relate to a lot of this... love is pain... love hurts.  It can be so very magical and heavenly... and sometimes we discover that we see what we choose to see.

Aaaahh... such an honest write.

Thank you...

Love,
Moca

Thank you all for your great replies to this, as I haven't written too much for this forum. But I feel there's a need to write about real feelings too, not just when you're on the upswing.  I appreciate any feedback on this type of writing, as I think it takes more thought really, than the other types of writing. So, your replies are appreciated...sincerely!

Interesting...when we make the wrong choices and fall in love with the wrong person that would be pain...if we make the right choices and fall in love with the right person that would be love...so some of this type of pain we do have control over...if we love someone and they pass away that is pain...and we have no control over that...just some thoughts...James

James, your thoughts are most appreciated, and I agree with them.  Sometimes it's difficult to seperate love from pain, as they both blend so well together.  Thank you
