This is my longing's revelation
sweet revealed, my soul's sensation
This is the other half of me--
the part of me, that used to be...
here is my spirit on her knees...
the part of me that whispers "please"...
screaming sanity through lies...
this is my life--no compromise.

Just a scream
(in a dream)

his hand is halfway
up my knee...

(Just a dream...)
in a scream

his hand is half-death
round my throat...

in a dream...
I can scream
whispers, I once spoke,
through the smoke
of the screen...

And with each word I write?
know you now, that I have died...
each verse a sonnet into air,
this is the heart of my despair...

It's a dream.
(i believe)
just a dream
I conceived...

just a dream.
just a dream.
just a dream.

just...a dream...?

dreams and reality are defined by a thin line of shadows...great read

lost in thought, found in words.

Oh god... my heart is running fourth-speed but my body is deathly still (and yes, I use that word for a reason). Nights I wake up screaming (or scream and have to be shaken back into the living), I have to lie there, white knuckles squeezing pain out of the protective arms around me, mumuring to my mind that I am here in this bedroom, not in some grey backseat, or one of my childhood bedrooms...and it seems to integrate itself into me and my life in ways I would rather deny...
SO, intended or not, these are the images I get from this... back to reread with a clear mind later.

(p.s. I'm eating Skippy Honey Nut now...lol... went shopping today, had to buy some...)

Some might say that dreams are the corporeal testing ground. You certainly bring the reader into your realm.

Well said.
