I owe love to the footprints of the ocean.
I owe love to song upon the hills
I owe love to evening's shadows. Why?
Why do I?

Could it be the tender way in which you sigh?
Could it be those bird-shadows in the sky?
Tell me the answers.
Tell me why?

Oh god, that lightning burns.
Bolts thrown from cloud to cloud.
Rain turns into eyes;
she watches me.

Tears falling soft
upon the ache within your heart,
Soothing cool, it's love...
Our love...

Dear, I want to die.
Shhh, dear, it's all right.
I want to die among our love's intents.

Then wrap me in the tender groanings
beneath your strength,
roll over me & take my breath away
that I might slumber forever with you...

You kiss away the storm.
You hold the sea in palm.
You bid me drink your flood until
I know your secrets' calm.

Nourish me with your lips,
feed me the fire of your passion,
set ablaze the world
that holds only us two...

I owe love to the colour of your sighs.
I owe love to the keeper of my soul.
I owe love to the wishes of our nights. Do I?
I do.

My darling, I owe all my love... to you...

I sailed these ships to you.
Each bore a letter of your name.
They numbered four.
Oh, Love.

Each word bore the sweetness of your kiss
and the tenderness of your touch.
Each touch became a song
played upon your aqua eyes.

I am lost in the melody
that beckons at the edge
of your shimmering dark pools...

I drowned myself to sleep in them.
I drowned my dreams in stilled waters.

He knows the meaning of every sigh
each time he awakens me with love.
And she knows my heart
whenever I speak her name.

His warmth gives her life,
his voice wilds her tame...

I owe love to the day that bursts from you
& the night that blankets the joining of two...

Forever, Love.
I owe you.

She said burn ... together.

Okay, who ever wrote "I drown myself to sleep" must be worshipped, now.

You guys still rock together.

I love you, Mikhail. My amazing poet boy.

And I noticed a lot of Cure catch-words. Was that intentional?

Well, I have an idea.
I think that I'll have to find a new way to express my appreciation for your and tiersdin's poetry. Together and separate, both of you have achieved a new level of competence.

I'm going to go find my crayons and maybe color in my SpongeBob book.

Lori, thanks! If it wasn't for you, Mikey probably couldn't come up with anything to write! *wink*

And Wranx, you need to write more! that's an order!

you know. . . I really like it when two of my personal favorites get together. . .

this is why. . . a wonderful piece that just seems to fall down the page and take the reader away. . . yes. . . great work you two. . .
