MADNESS By: Jonathan L. Alone in the darkness Dark pools of death Better breather slowly Cause this may be your last breath Freakish formations come into view Fingers pointing, faces laughing Mind racing as tears form Ripping piercings to control the pain Blood dripping from non-existent wounds The voices take over Twisting the spine Spitting upon life Peeling flesh with razor nails Trying to destroy the bugs Traveling deeper as you dig All the time making a wooden basket Nerves exploding Lungs shrinking Heart racing Numbing the pain with endless tales Shrieking desire for the end Body lying as it empties itself Your last breath is now The madness has taken over |

wow, i loved it, it's not disturbed it's just gory, not always a bad thing though, you know? well, i liked it very much. it's makes a very distinct and chilling picture in my head. thanks for sharing! bye! -Abby |

Indeed a "disturbing" look at one of the "darkest" facets of most everyone's life. It fits here, and is well versed. I thought it very poignant. Welcome to posting in Dark Poetry! |
