I wish, I wish I had my heart again, The eternal orange hued glow of tranquility, That hue, an end to my unremitting pain, My plane of peace, where I'm truly free. I wish, I wish, I wish in vain, That the silences would cease, That my world abound in love and laughter, That my very soul is offered some peace. Am I not deserving? Do I not bleed like my brother? Do I not love like my sister? Do I not weep like my Mother? I reach out in the dark, No chest to stroke, no hand to hold, I fear this pain and lonliness, My horrors untold. I wish, I wish, I wish in vain, That I find an end to this pain, That I'm loved for all I've become, And I never feel this way again...... *The heart of education is the education of the heart...* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |
