My homeland is not of the world

The Endless Desire
by,
Matt
Dedicated to my only love, Cassie

My arms wish for one last embrace
My eyes long to see your face
To see your smile, and tearless eyes
To never have to say goodbye

My knew shakes for love so true
My heart beats just for you
My tears fall amongst the ground
Every time you're not around

My heart rips in two and four
Love has finally closed the door
And locked me in this dreaded place
Miles away from your enchanting face

Your eyes, your smile, your hands, and hair
I love everything about you, it's not fair
To lose you in a moments time
To fall silent like a mime

My heart's full of love and pain
My tears fall down like acid rain
Melting my heart and poisoning my soul
As once again love takes its toll

You're all I want in this life
Hold my hand and end this strife
Speak to me and melt my doubt
And "I love you", I will shout

I love you and only you
My heart knows this is true
But when I see you day by day
I forget all I wish to say

Emotionless my life is now
Begging to see you again somehow
Hoping our lives will cross again
But what then

Will I confess my love to you
And hope you know it's true
Or will I let you go
And wait till deaths final blow

I wrote this to tell Cassie that I love her, and hopefully to date her again.I haven't given it to her yet, I'm still waiting for the perfect moment. Let me know what you think

Personally i really liked it. I do think its a little obsessive but I've written some pretty obsessive things too.  I think you should give it to her if you want her to know how you really feel,  but if you want to maker her fall right back into your arms, I think that your gonna have to give her something more than a poem (i dont mean material).

I meant weird that you might know me.  I didn't think anyone that lives here would find this place.  I didn't really think that too many people like poetry here   also, for your other point, I agree, but I know not what to do.  I never felt this way before.  Everyday I get up for one reason, because I might see her that day.  There is nothing I wouldn't do for her.  I would die for her if it came down to it.  I can't stand that I can't tell her this, for fear of losing the friendship we have.  ugg...  The story as old as time.
anyhow, out of curiosity, am I who you beieved me to be?
