Each ray of light covered by shadow,
For each tear that fell from our eyes.
One of those mysterious things,
No one could really accept inside.
The morning sun rose,
In everyones dismay.
But not the young girl,
Next to her bed, cold, she lays.
Screams echoed the hallway,
Tears burned their cheeks.
Their little girl didnt awake,
From her long peaceful sleep.
Not a sign of struggle,
Not one ounce of pain.
She died during the night,
Nothing ever to be the same.
An older sister i never had,
A best friend who took me under her wing.
I loved her like family,
Our friendship is an irreplacable thing.
So sudden, so cold,
So many things gone unsaid.
So many memories not reminisced,
So many thoughts in my head.
I never got to tell you,
How much you meant to me.
How much i cherished our time,
And how i appreciated all the things you've done for me.
I always thought tomorrow,
Yes, tomorrow would be the day.
I'd remind you i loved u as a friend,
And you mean more to me than words can say.
Tomorrow never came,
I waited too long.
Now your body lay still,
You can no longer hear the words i wished to say all along.
Im sorry with all my heart,
My procrastination i will never forgive.
I lost you without a moments notice,
But in my heart you will forever live.
I prayed last night and wished to you,
For you to know this is true.
You were a blessing in my life,
And i was so lucky to know you.
Now you lay peaceful,
You lay so still.
I hope you know i loved you,
And i always will.

A friend died yesterday at the age of 19 whom i've known my whole life. She was like an older sister to me and her brother who is my age found her dead in the morning. Our families are best friends and she will forever be remembered in my heart..i hope she knows that...Never wait till tomorrow to remind someone how much they mean to you...tomorrow may never come

My heart goes out to you and her family. This is far too young to be taken from this world, it is tragic. You have my deepest sympathies

This is sad but so true-my cousin died our senior year b4 prom & everything--we were so close as kids but our diffences drifted us apart, I have regrets & the biggest one is at our winter party at school I was drunk when he said the last words i would ever hear from him, but i was too drunk to know what he said--that eats at me all the time & it burns so bad--so yes you have to live each day with the people you love as if it were your last!!   LOVE ELMO

I would like to express my most sincere sympathy to everyone who knew this young girl.
I have felt this loss way too many times. It has never been easy, and time is relative in a matter like this.
She I'm sure, is so very proud of the piece you have written for this, and taking your advice I would like to say I do so love all the pure of heart that are in this group. We are all here to help in any way possible.
Please be strong my friend.

"Watching the sunset so low, tells us that it's time, the day is to end.
Nobody cries at it leaves, or reaches for the light, it's soon back again.
But then I hear a sigh, and wish that you could stay.
I'd like another day with you.
Don't want to know where it ends, I'll live with either way.
Just tell me what I have to do.
Where is the joy time forgets, you ask me if I know...it's still as before.
Up on a breeze soaring high, it comes alive each day, whenever you call.
But now to lose your love, that shown throughout my day,
To walk along our path all alone.
I have memories enough, to help me find my way...
...And bring back all the love we've known..."

Wanted to share this with you... I couldn't find my own words to say to you at the moment that would reflect better than these words written by a friend of mine...

You and all those associated with this young soul are in my prayers.

This is absolutely sad but beautifully written. I feel the mixture of love, pain, and regret for time passed or taken for granted her; but don't be too hard no yourself. *sigh* Remember her presence in your life as a blessing.

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since
