A love that spans oceans of time, A love that is neither yours nor mine, A love that transcends colour and creed, A love blessed by the devine. A spiritual undertaking that knows no depths, Soul indentifying like soul, Trembling hearts and bodies, A love such is this my ultimate goal. No words need be spoken, A touch or glance speaking volumes, Knowing no matter what happens, There is serenity, comfort, love and peace with you. A love discovered and forged lifetimes ago, A place where even now my soul retreats to, A love that transcends time, an epic romance, The dreams of which I can't let go. We fought wars together side by side, We taught the converts this is where love resides, We changed the world, and made it a better place, We loved unashamedly, we had nothing to hide. And tonight when I enter the realm of dreams, We will be together yet again, With you alone my heart knows true spiritual love, I pray our Soul Song never ends...... Whether one believes in religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn't anyone who doesn't appreciate kindness and compassion |
