When slowly you walk And quickly you mock And all seems old And cares lie in mould, When your skull And your brain Try to dance In Reason again When in a trance You lie in vain And still they believe And still you can't leave The presence of fear That she won't Always be near When you don't Know the future's events From the past's foul dents Then that's when you'll know for sure that I am here. That's when you'll know for sure that I am here To embrace you and call you my own. That's when you'll whisper to me in your bed And call and scream my name. Now do you really want someone taking me away from you?...? "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

Thanks for the responses all. I'm glad u liked it. Seems this kinda terse and slightly metrical[I think that's the right word for poetry with meter..] is working well. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |
