This is an attempt to find beauty in a three night stand. It is perhaps out of frustration, but I really am bored trumpeting the tradegy of lost love. This time i sought out the beauty, I guess I'm tired of being bitter. Hope you dig. *** She sings softly as she holds me against her bosom Lost on the waters of Lethe my aches float away Peaceful dreams, clouds of lost thoughts and dream Curling through the air, her voice softly at play I feel a light wind as her will turns to a daydream A pleasant smell of cinnamon drifts through my mind As the lady of dreams flows away with a smile A melody of delight followers her in waves of time It is a pleasant dream indeed to stare at the full moon Against her pale robes, to understand a touch of blood When she courteously leaves the heavens for the sun He has been blessed and may sing her memory of love I sit with my thoughts under the affection of the afternoon sun Kick the red dirt and hum in a mischievous off-key tune. Laugh at the fractals skipping with the wind and leaves While in the warmth of the sun I remember the soft moon. |
