The nights turned cold
It all came to an end
My vision was gone
I could not comprehend
Why the darkness
Has a hold on me
Little does it notice
My heartbreaking pleas
Of wanting some freedom
A little bit of love
All the things that I
Have been deprived of
It takes control
Of my heart and mind
So all of my thoughts
Seem so confined
My vision becomes blurry
Nothing left to see
Everything seems twisted
Full of dubree
Scared as can be
The darkness is overbearing
So many tears I cry
Seems never ending
Noises get louder
No longer can I sleep
Running in fear
I can hear them creep

The hardest thing to do is watch someone you love, love someone else!
