What to be
Serenity
As now I watch love flower
For now I see
Bestowed on me
Is a truly wondrous power

The gift of love
From heaven above
It sometimes makes me sour
The golden dove
I'm speaking of
Form it I can not cower

I write this verse
It's not rehearsed
While locked up in this tower
It's not my best
It's not my worst
It's not my final hour

Time moves slow
Until I go
And give her my love shower
I miss her so
Thought you should know
That's why I feel so dour

This had a nice feel to it, just something different, not sure what but I liked it very much.

Irish Rose: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it as well. I'll admit it's not my best work. It was just a little something that I played around with. Thanks again.
