I cried as you walked away,
I couldn’t believe it was really over.

You turned back once,
And saw my tears.

It looked like you wanted to cry,
And you quickly turned away.

Everyone tried to comfort me,
But I just wanted you.

I stood there watching you walk away,
Knowing I could do nothing.

I prayed that you would come back,
And tell me it was a mistake.

My tears began to hit the ground,
And form a puddle at my feet.

You called me when I got home,
Said there was a chance for love again.

I continued to cry,
You said it hurt you to see it.

Earlier, I was holding your hand,
You held mine for a while, too.

But then you pushed it away,
And I cried even harder.

I don’t know what to think,
All I wanna do is cry.

So cry. Cry until you've found yourself again, and only then will you be able to mend what has been broken. It's going to turn out all right. Don't lose hope. We're all here for you, with advice or cyber-hugs...*hug*

Yes, let your tears come, that can help. I think your poem captured this feeling extremly well. I hope you make it through this situation, keep communicating and see how things go. I'm sure everyone else will give better support then I can, but know that all of us are here for you.

Tamma it's going to be ok. I think it was quite immature for him to just up and leave you for that reason. He should converse with you about it and see if there is anyway to solve the problem rather than to just OUT OF NOWHERE leave you. He'll come back because there was no closure to the breakup...He did it in a rash way....
Good luck.

I agree with acire, if he didn't have those feelings anymore, then he probably wouldn't have bothered calling, at least so soon. It will come back, when it happens this way it almost always does. Good luck and keep ya' head up.

*hug* I'm a big fan of the hug. Just find happiness in the fact that you've changed people's lives enough for them to care about you. And even some (myself included) are just concerned even though we don't hardly know you.

This has a great theme to it.
Sorrow makes for some wonderful poetry. Keep writing, hon.
And best of luck to you. You always know where to find me.

I'm terribly sorry Tamma. Break ups are hard enough, let alone unexpected ones that seem to have no reason or ryhme. I wish you the best
